Using TimeSnapper

On the browser click on play button to see all snapshots and the tool has been recorded in the background. The title of web browser it displays the time at which the snapshot was taken along with a timeline for you to navigate.

The date dropdown control will help you to navigate to a particular day if you want to dig deep into the past.

TimeSnapper Configuration

That was all about the tool. Let’s see its settings. Click on Options button and to open the program settings. Under image quality, you can specify the quality of the image. By default, your images are stored in PNG format in the 100% resolution. If you want to save space on hard disk, you can reduce the resolution 50% and the file type is JPG.

Under the archive menu, you can configure the grace period of images before it will be deleted permanently from your system thus limiting the hard disk use.
